ADDING MAIL ACCOUNTS IN OUTLOOK EXPRESS
Before you set up an account in Outlook Express, please make sure that you have
obtained an email account from NKTELCO.
This is the same as the email address that you use to access your email account
with NKTELCO webmail
If you do not know your email address or password please contact
NKTELCO for assistance.
- Open Outlook Express
- Click on Tools and Accounts and the following screen should appear
- Choose the Mail Tab within the Internet Accounts screen
- Click Add and choose the Mail option in the drop down list box
- You should then see the following screen
- Within this screen you should enter your name as you would like it to appear on your
outgoing messages
- Click Next
- Type in your email address in the line provided (You may or may not see the I
already have an email address that I would like to use option
- Click Next
- Within this screen you will want to make sure that the incoming mail server is set to
POP3
- Then in the incoming mail server line you will want to type in mailserver.nktelco.net
- The outgoing mail server will also be mailserver.nktelco.net
- Click Next
- On this screen you should enter your email address such as
username@nktelco.net. This
is the same as the email address that you use to access your email account with NKTELCO webmail
